I got the Monday blues...

Monday's are so tough aren't they? We had a jammed weekend and I'm still recovering slowly with lotsa coffee. All the coffee, all the time. (this was also my first week without any wine or sweets due to a new fitness/diet routine so you could say that I'm a tad touchy as of late...more on that later!)

My husband's sister is moving back to Chicago from Cali which meant a great catch up visit plus a baby shower this weekend. Toss in the paint trip we made to finish off the master bedroom and a dozen errands in between and we're back at Monday morning...which is why this post is going live so late today. I couldn't even see my computer screen last night!

I'm keeping it simple today. This is my favorite summer errand look. The worlds comfiest tee paired with white denim, or any denim for that matter, with cute shoes and a statement necklace. 

And my bejeweled sandals...it was a summer wardrobe must. They're under $70 for Pete's Sake!

I generally don't have a ton of time to get ready on weekend mornings because everyone wants to get out and enjoy the day. We're talking 7:30am bagel runs.

This Gorjana necklace is making many-an-appearance these days, too. It's the perfect piece. I love simple, gold necklaces. The mere fact that they can dress up a basic tee makes them a keeper in my book.

Spring is a time for new beginnings. And there are so many in comparison to last year’s Spring. While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.
