My Top 5 Ride or Die Beauty Products.
I don't fall for beauty trends all that often. Perhaps it's my age but I know what I like. Fashion trends...yes, guilty as charged. Typically you will find me in a neutral lip or a bold lip. No in between but always matte. Lipgloss? Not so much, I kind of exhausted that in my late 20's but a strong lip...always!

Lately I've been thinking about the whole "what would I take on a deserted island" scenario and I've skillfully widdled it down to five items. Some of these items I discovered this summer but they are quite literally my ride of die must-haves.
...starting with Urban Decay Heat 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil. This is a limited edition collection that I was sent and I fell in love. So much so that I never used to wear eyeliner on my bottom lid or on my watermark and now I can't leave the house without it. Black is so severe for day but this copper hue is to die for. And when they say it glides on...they're not kidding. It's like butter which is saying a lot because I am horrible at eyeliner application. You must buy this. Comes in black and olive too, which would be really pretty for darker skin tones.
Next up is BEAUTY BY POPSUGAR Trio Time Eye. I wear Morocco which consists soft browns. It's my everyday eye palette. Known for their buildable color, I wear the middle shadow for day and layer on the shimmery colors for evening. I am so very impressed with this line. It's truly hard to make a mistake when applying. Everything blends so nicely and the packaging is compact so I can throw it in my work bag or just about any purse.
Ok, I've written about this next product before when I started using it last Fall. It has changed my life, the appearance of my skin and most definitely, the moisture levels. It delivers a flawless finish. I am squeezing the life out of my last tube currently and it's IT COSMETICS Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+. It color corrects, removes dark spots...I am pretty sure it makes me a better person. I was never a CC believer but you guys should know by now that I only write about the people, places and things that I truly love and this ranks pretty high.
Mascara. I feel like you've kissed one, you've kissed them all. Yes, I've tried some luxury brands that wowed me momentarily but then it became a matter of convenience and cost. Well, I am happy to report that Physicians Formula delivers a great middle ground. Try PHYSICIANS FORMULA KILLER CURVES VOLUPTUOUS CURLING MASCARA. The applicator really delivers a thick base that you can layer on and the formula dries quick so when you add that second and third layer, you will also see a slight curl. I am not an eyelash-curler-kind-of-gal so this is an added bonus!
Last but not least, my beloved Urban Decay lipstick. The Vice line can literally take all my money. It stays put which makes it a tremendous bang for your buck. It's highly likely that I have about 30 in my arsenal and I wear them all. One of my daily favorites is URBAN DECAY VICE LIPSTICK in Backtalk. I've turned so many of my friends onto this color so it's only fair that I share the love.

Maintaining this ashe-y blonde hue is an absolutely commitment. If you’re going to pursue this shade of blonde, you have to know what you’re signing up for. It’s been several years and lotsa dollars for me but I absolutely love it.
