Weekends are for sun and smiles. And that's just what we did! I guess you could say this is a week of stylish photography with my littles. Every once in a while they like to make a cameo and I am happy to oblige.

This starry shirt dress is a recent fave and under $30. I've only worn it once and received so many compliments. I love when inexpensive fashion intersects this season's trends. And, I've officially hopped on the choker bandwagon. It takes some getting used to and I won't invest in a ton of them but for $6…the price is right!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern.
