Zara's Black Friday Sale

I don’t go bananas on Black Friday. I kind of graze all weekend because let’s be honest, the sales last for quite some time despite the Cyber Week sense of urgency. With that said, there is one sale I never miss and that’s the Zara Black Friday sale. It’s my favorite. Zara is my quintessential stop for basics. I always get compliments on outerwear, denim and shoes. Always. And I keep those pieces forever. Affordable, minimal and contemporary. I don’t care if you’ve never shopped here before, this is the year to change that.

The best sweater dress under $100!

I used to be strongly opposed to sweater dresses. They all seemed shapeless and unflattering. That was until this year. My big mistake was not accessorizing them properly. A statement belt makes a world of a difference hence my renewed love for this cozy fashion staple.

Summer neutrals.

My love for bronze skin and neutrals knows no boundaries. I love everything nude. <smirk, smirk> I was feeling summer and all the creative juices this weekend and from it…voíla! We have a new post of shoppable accessories and apparel that taps into my neutral-loving-addiction. And yes, leopard is a neutral in my book.

I had absolutely zero intention of discussing, partaking or posting about Amazon Prime Days. Not out of rebellion but because I really wasn’t feeling it. Like the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, it is literally crammed down our throats. But then….uhhhhh, well I have a summer cold and it’s causing me a bout of insomnia. Mostly because I cannot breathe. Spring dresses.

A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

Blame an impromptu Friday #OOTD as the catalyst behind this post. This $14.99 surf shop sweatshirt was such a topic of conversation that I knew I was onto something. It makes sense…we are re-entering cozy season and tomorrow is officially the first day of Fall.

If you’re looking for the perfect Sunday dress and tired of cutoffs (on occasion), then look no further. I found the perfect dress that hides weekend indulgences and is figure flattering. Truth be told I owe it all to Jacey from Damsel in Dior. She shared it on Instagram stories and I rolled the dice. I trust her opinions 100% because she sticks to her aesthetic religiously.

If the the pandemic brought us an overabundance of athleisure in the Spring, then the next chapter was all about house dresses. At least it was for me. This dress received so much feedback via Instagram and DM s that I knew I was onto something. It deserved it’s own post.
