Repurposed Palms.

The last time you saw me wear this palm print, I was in Hilton Head on vacation. Today's look is a smidge more polished. In fact, I wore it to a bridal shower because...why not?

Some days I just want to avoid dresses and be able to stretch out. I avoid trousers all summer long but Fall is-a-creepin. I can smell it in air. Windows open and some of the best sleep, too!

I kinda miss pants. Watch me regret saying this come January!

Throw on some colorful accessories and you have an easy, monochromatic look. Crops look equally polished with a cute pair of faux leather shorts or a simple pencil skirt and leather jacket. Don't pack them away. It's layering season, girls!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

…and just to prove how extra I can be, I paired this ensemble with a houndstooth tote. A bit much? Perhaps. My coat is on super sale so grab it now! I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern. I will never tire of houndstooth. This is a print for all generations.
