A Shopper's Uniform.

All right. Black Friday is around the corner. It's time to get serious. We all know the struggle. It's hot in the stores, cold outside and you're gonna get pushed around like a fat kid in a donut shop. What do you wear? I'll tell you...this outfit. It's ventilated and the jacket is not required.

PS / you need stretchy denim post turkey time. Let's be honest.

My jacket is Forever21 circa five years ago. I always bring it out in the Fall because it's so apropos. It's a great pop of color! The black denim was a gift from my mother last Christmas - truly, one of the comfiest pairs I own. J. Brand isn't cheap but the stretch and distressing are worth the price. I reach for them constantly!

The boots...those are a recent acquisition. I wasn't sure how much I'd love them until they were in my hot little hands. And now, I can't stop wearing them. I cannot tell you how many compliments I receive on these dang boots. Would you believe they are under $55? I'm gonna leave that right there.

Finally, this cut-out sweater. I've had my eye on this trend for some time so I chose a neutral that I could style with just about everything. It's comfy and hits at the waist giving me some definition because there's nothing worse than a sweater that makes you look like a house. Especially after the holidays! It looks equally as cute paired with a pencil skirt, too!

That's my Black Friday outfit. Easy, peasy - no muss, no fuss. Most of the time I leave my jacket in the car while I dart in between stores, hence I won't freeze in this shopping uniform. And let's be honest, you need to be agile when you're shopping because the minute that mom puts down the Baby Alive she's holding; you need to slide into home and snag that puppy!

Happy shopping + Happy Thanksgiving friends. I am so grateful for your continued support. I hope you have ample quality time with your loved ones. Cheers!
