An artful approach
What inspires you? Is it the energy you receive after attending a great event? Is it a piece of art? Is it googling inspirational quotes? Is it random acts of kindness? Is it reading a new #girlboss piece on your favorite site?
For me, it's all of the above. And for that I consider myself a lucky girl because inspiration is all around! As I sit and daydream about what my dream office would look like, I decided to share the love because it's very easy to get inspired on a dime...thanks to places like West Elm and Etsy.
Today I'm sharing 21 assorted prints that I am currently fawning over. It would be so easy to finish off a small but chic office space with these and an all white desk complimented by a tufted chair, natch. Not that I'm very specific or have a vision...cough, cough.
Who's in for $5 prints that keep your mojo burning strong...even when the coffee pot has completely emptied out? Me!
Happy shopping! xo

We inherited my parents French, dining room table when we bought the house and it’s one of my favorite pieces. The natural wood and curvature fit perfectly into our formal dining room despite being over 20 years old. They don’t make furniture like this any longer. Along with it, we inherited the formal dining chairs which we repaired and reupholstered as well.
I’m all about a refresh when I can. Most of our furniture and decor ranges from 8-10 years old. No need for a remodel but sometimes I get the urge to give a corner a bit of a facelift. A fresh coat of paint or some throw pillows make a world of a difference.
The final installment of our master bedroom remodel is here. In case you missed it, read part I and part II. As you can imagine, these posts are huge labors of love hence the delay in rolling them out quickly. The last chapter of this book is entirely focused on my closet. You see, my husband had the brilliant idea that because I have so much “stuff” that I should utilize an under utilized sitting room in our bedroom. Let me be clear that I never asked for it and my husband is also a genius. Also code for: he really wanted to kick me out of the closet! So this space that had two hand-me-down loveseats and a ton of PR packages piled up began to take shape in our heads…and exactly one year later, it became a thing.
If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you know that we have hit completion with a couple of home projects. What a relief! Raising two girls has definitely given me the patience required to endure construction commingled with a pandemic. I definitely had my days though!
If you follow my 101 things i love Facebook page, you know my affinity for a good daily deal. I share one every evening. Or at least I try! (if you're not, like my page to see items ranging from great sweaters to heels) Well today is a special exception because while we might be closing the books on January...we're still in the throws of winter.
Gift giving has arrived my friends! When I think of the items I use daily, the absolute necessities in life, they are often brilliant inventions that have a practical function in my life. Believe it or not, they aren't shoes or dresses, they're items that help me function as a parent, a host, an entertainer...you know, an overall renaissance woman of sorts. Totally kidding!
This post is coming at you late for a number of reasons - two of which happen to be: 1. I drank a bottle of wine last night (oops! - summer, it's your fault) and 2. this week is off to a nutty start. I feel like everyone just returned from Memorial Day and needs everything...NOW!

Gettin' real with ya folks. Today you're going to see a bunch of "before's." We're nearing the end of our master bedroom renovation so I thought I would give you an update. It's been ages since we took on a huge project. And for good reason...it's a mess and this fashionista can't stand disorder.
