Everyday denim.

When I think of easy, everyday uniforms...I think of denim and a fitted blazer. Two classics that no woman should be without. On the days I am running like a mad woman, (cough, cough - everyday) I opt for a heel that can take me from day to night. Or, in my case, carpool lines to photo shoots to meetings to happy hour. Might I add that these scalloped beauties definitely fit the bill?

I always let my accessories do the talking...a strong earring and a statement ring and I'm out the door!

But what do you pair with a fitted blazer when you need to go from a physical job to refined meetings? For me, that's easy - something that's flattering and that moves. The option I've been loving is this simple wrap top that hugs at all the right places. Comes in two colors, too!

My daily uniforms have to move with my busy schedule. Even when I sit for 20 seconds for quick caffeine breaks. Stiff fabrics end up at Goodwill and no one has time for that. We all want to feel good in our clothes, especially after indulgent weekends. (Raises hand)

Two factors I always take into consideration. because when you're a busy mompreneur, shopping is a luxury that we simply don't have and at 38, I need to get it right the very first time. Let's face it, when you do shop for yourself, chances are you're making dinner, breaking up a tiff and responding to clients all at once. Make this your everyday uniform and take the guesswork out!
