Long gone are the days of boring suits. I much rather prefer to punch it up with vibrant shoes and accessories. Such is the case with today's look. It's my one and only Spring suit. If there's ever a time to break it out...it's now! Today I went for a nautical look because...well, because why not? I am head over heels with this top. It's under $20 and the quality is awesome. I wear it ever week because of those darn sleeves. They rock and it comes in varying lengths, colors and styles. 

If there is one thing you take away from today's post it is - buy this top! I promise you won't regret it.

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

…and just to prove how extra I can be, I paired this ensemble with a houndstooth tote. A bit much? Perhaps. My coat is on super sale so grab it now! I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern. I will never tire of houndstooth. This is a print for all generations.
