This is the perfect weather to dress cozy and this is also one of my favorite type of Sunday outfits. A textured sweater and a maxi skirt. Actually, this was a dress that I had altered into a skirt. Why toss it just because it's ill fitting? Make something new!

Pair it with a chic bootie and instant Fall! Sweater is old from last year but this is a remix I plan to repeat. Sometimes it's nice to skip the denim and opt for something flowy. Happy Monday friends!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

…and just to prove how extra I can be, I paired this ensemble with a houndstooth tote. A bit much? Perhaps. My coat is on super sale so grab it now! I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern. I will never tire of houndstooth. This is a print for all generations.
