Island fever.

Perhaps it was dining at a new Hawaiian restaurant over the weekend or perhaps it's the humidity but I'm feeling island inspired. Actually, put me on a plane and I'd love to set up camp in Maui for a week. Island fever? Party of one!

What's not to love about a good shift dress? Easy as pie to style making getting out the door a cinch...one of the many reasons I love summer!

Don't even get me started on the print. Pink and orange have got to be one of my favorite color combos. Decidedly feminine and bright. Essentially the summation of my entire closet. Not sorry about that at all!

Spring is a time for new beginnings. And there are so many in comparison to last year’s Spring. While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern.
