Just peachy.

Spring is in full swing and I couldn't be happier about it. Everyone's moods have lifted and there are tiny buds popping out from the ground in my front yard. Next, the cherry blossom tree which is my absolute favorite if even for just a fleeting moment in time. Can you imagine what D.C. looks like? ...on my bucket list for sure!

I haven't given peach much of my attention in the past. I tend to gravitate towards vibrant colors but I think I'm giving it a second thought. (even if my skin tone matches this hue perfectly)

This waterfall jacket is the perfect lightweight layer for this time of year. A splash of color turning the most ordinary outfit into something a bit more polished. The soft, feminine layers dress up my basic denim and tee instantly. 

Perhaps I still have a bit of Easter in me but pastels just work. Grab my jacket here and layer up ladies! Happy Monday!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

…and just to prove how extra I can be, I paired this ensemble with a houndstooth tote. A bit much? Perhaps. My coat is on super sale so grab it now! I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern. I will never tire of houndstooth. This is a print for all generations.
