When I think of bodysuits, I think of Cindy Crawford and Pepsi commercials. That's where my brain gravitates immediately. As a child of the 80's...bodysuits were a popular product of this era. Usually high cut and uncomfortable and a pain to get off.

Fast forward to today and I am happy to report that the bodysuit has evolved and I am completely and utterly a fan. It's comfy and dare I say a tad more roomy. Sure, you can't avoid the snaps and bathroom challenges that come with them but I am okay with that and even more happy to trade it in for feminine details like this mesh, polka dot number.

Would you believe it's just a mere $15? Yup, that's right. I will be wearing it with skirts, denim and trousers until summer brights takeover my closet. A little sexy, a little intellectual and all parts perfect. Welcome to your new closet staple!

While much of the world continues to be on the mend from such a tumultuous year, I continue to feel optimistic that better times are ahead. A year later…happier dresses, happier times. We’re seeing more vaccinations, less mask mandates, more in-person get-togethers and overall, a heck of a lot more joy. This Spring is so very different then Spring 2020 and I am grateful for that.

I’ve been wanting one for years and this oversized version fit the bill. It’s all about the details. The ruched sleeves, the oversized lapel and the large-scale pattern.
